i would worry about jack knifing that dump body into the chipper with the pintle hitch set so far towards the cab

Mines just as far back on my freightliner, not a problem for me. Most big chippers have adjustable length tongues too.

I believe you can buy a bolt on extension as well.

Yes, Bandit sells them. I had that style of hitch plate put on a new chipper build for just that reason.

My money's on it being a 33k gross, but I'm just speculating. Not to many of the 4700's were 26k with air brakes.

Do you know what type of roll off system it has mounted.

Chips really aren't that heavy. I weigh at the truck stop often and am rarely over weight.
