correct me if I'm wrong but didn't dan osman do this type of jump way before these guys did? I'm pretty sure he did this set up on the same land bridge as these guys are.

Dan Osman died in 1998 on a return visit to Leaning Tower,Yosemite.The jump in the You tube clip.
It was a 1000ft jump and he was a pioneer of this type of rope swing jumping.He was also an amazing climber.

Too bad they didn't focus on the ropework (at least once).

I saw a butterfly tie-in with two ropes, and the below
tail led to I'm not sure what (or why). I'd like to see how
they ceased swinging and came back to earth.

(Fortunately, this wasn't one of those *instructional* videos
showing something that was A Bad Idea. Nevertheless, as Dan
Osman showed, things can go (terribly) wrong. --when "do the
math" has great significance!)
