Sorry, but I couldn't help wanting to add to one of your captions about "the only way to do this was the old fashion dangerous way"
"We've found entirely new dangerous ways to do this"

(I know....when done right, there are a very safe option, but in the wrong hands VERY dangerous!)

Do you just skim off the pools after you are done? A few shots looked like a lot of saw dust was headed their way.

Not many pools up here. The ones that were going to be problems here, I just delayed until winter when they pools were shut down. There was another that I had to squeeze in last spring right before they were opening the pool.

It’s all relative really. Dangerous. What’s that mean anyway? Depends on the holder. All I know is nobody had to climb those trees. The back one was uprooted and pinned by the way. No climber. Me being on the roof was the only height we worked at. Soo, maybe your right, maybe.

Yup, we just skimmed it off. No biggie.

Pretty nice! How does that crane compare to a truck mounted crane in terms of reach and capacity? How much does it weigh? And finally how much does it cost ?! I can see the benefits of a tracked crane over a truck mounted one. Those trees where tricky but not terrible. I guess the questions is how much more money will you make with that setup vs. a climber or a tracked lift? You still have some big iron there.

Trucks and tracks both have their place in the industry. They ARE different though. It has never been cheaper for me to do tree removals. Way less employees and headaches too.
