I have just heard from a very reputable source that the Charlotte Arborists Association will be putting on another kickass TCC this year at Freedom Park.

When: April 9 & 10 (setup on the 8th)

Where: Freedom Park 1900 East Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203

Additional information and updates can be found at the CAA's website

www.caa-nc.org

As always, the CAA welcomes competitors and volunteers from all over the world. Please consider making this TCC a destination for this year. I may not be able to attend, but Bob Lubbers (the new CAA President) and the Executive Committee of the CAA are all working hard to continue the record of TCC excellence.

I'd like too. Is this going to be SRT friendly. No sense making a trip if its not!

What? Kevin went to NATCC. I'm sure you're not too bad climbing DdRT...

Surely you guys can run more than 50 climbers through the prelims

Sounds like the CAATCC tradition of excellence is alive and well. This still continues to be the premier invitational TCC in the US.

I'll be there and if you aren't Stephen, you can S your own Bs!

Charlotte was the North American before the North American was the North American... where do you think they got the idea? And this one isn't watered down with a Chapter TCC, it's the cheese... it stands alone.

This is one of THE best TCCs you can climb in. No other event is about the climbers like the Charlotte.

Go ahead and say it. It IS the best TCC you can climb in.... Well... it might be. Kentucky is up and coming!

Having never been to the KY TCC (which I regret) I guess I have to reserve it from judgement... but no one can deny that the Charlotte is a CLIMBER'S comp.

It's not a chapter sideshow, it's for the climbers and about the climbers.

charlotte is still the best comp for climbers hands down. blinky i'm thinking 20 seconds on the fl this year. i'm sending out positive vibes to make it happen
