hmmm, this is not sounding too trustworthy.

sorry family tree, but just being honest about what others will be thinking.

When it comes to money, greed and cheating happen a lot in this world.

People are going to want to know how much goes to the people in need and to what people it went to.

Your telling me we can't send a check directly to this woman that needs help? Instead of going through a site that is going to take part of the money for their running expenses.

I'm talking about checks from treebuzz verterans, not some new guy that just signed up. And I was saying put the info in a PM, not on the forum.

Well if that's how it has to be, then if I win, maybe the winnings will go to the Salvation Army or the Red Cross then.

Shortly after reading this thread the first time, I had bought a longsleeve to help out, but shortly after that I thought about it and said to myself look how much money is going to be "wasted" on the shirt and printing material. Why, so I can "show off" that I gave money to someone in need. By buying a shirt, I just withheld money that could have all gone to them. I'm sure the shirt and print must have cost a minimum of $10, maybe even up to $16 if they don't get high volume of orders. That really lessens the money amount the person in need could have had.

I'm not trying to be ignorant to you and I hope you see my point.
 
You're point is a fair one.

If you're not comfortable then don't donate. Fair enough right?

Anyone that knows me knows of all of the charities I perform, knows my history with such things and knows that im trust worthy.

If you're not comfortable, then don't donate. I'm not going to just dish out someones name and address because of others comfort level. The website was donated. The shirts are being produced very cheaply and, yes, although it does indeed "show off" that you've donated, it also let's the charity grow some wings outside of just me preaching about it.

If youre uncomfortable then I have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM GIVING A REFUND! Just hit me up and ask. I have not processed any orders yet.

If it helps. I'm personally paying for the first 25 shirts being pressed. I only have to pay for the materials because the printing company has been extremely gracious and decided to charge me for materials only!
 
Quick note. If you want to send a check only you can send it to 420 Copley rd. Haddonfield nj, 08033. Make sure the check is made out to "Charitable Nature"

I'm currently working on getting a bank account established and my accountant is filing the paper work for the non profit as we speak.
 
Marc, this is a wonderful project and a great idea. I am happy that there are people who really care out there, and you seem to be one of them.

I was beginning to doubt humanity.

Abuse is not something that anyone should have to deal with, at any level.
 
Quick update folks. The family had a great Christmas, the big gift being a creepy crawlers factory! Both boys love it and as I understand it they have been torturing their mother with different insects they made and putting them everywhere in the house!

The mother is meeting with social service as we speak, I just hope that they are able to help. The child support is gone and I've been personally picking up the tab (can't bring it with ya so mine as well spend it while ya can). She also has a few job interviews lined up so hopefully she can get full-time work or at least a second part time job

So far the charity has raised 120$, the shirts will be pressed and shipped shortly. Thank you for your support. There's still a lot to do so if you wish to donate then feel free to do so, every penny counts and is greatly appreciated

Yea Mark. Went in Saturday with 104 fever due to a severe infection. A few dead brain cells, a couple of weird hallucinations and a significantly lower sperm count later I made it home in time to watch the flyers beat up on the Blackhawks. Even made it to work today. All is well again!

Shirts look fantastic by the way guys. The printer did a great job and donated all of the shirts and printings so ALL of the money cleared and went to the family.
 
That's good to hear (all except the whole flyers blah blah crap).
