Changing Education Paradigms

Very much on point. We really do need to change our model of educating. Society is dominated by those who learned best by the singular approach of the system and thus propagates itself. What we should be doing is finding out initially what a person's learning style is and then channeling providing their education in that manner. Changing the current model to a more effective, inclusive method would be monumentally difficult. Not impossible...

2. So what about CEUs for Treebuzzing. Conferences make me sleepy and I'll give up my Cert status before I attend another.
 
I 100% agree with the "drugging" of our kids. My opinion is that parents are two lazy to sit and help their kids or just don't know how to control them so they turn them into zombies. Because it is the easy way out.
 
Much of the drugging comes from school recommendations due to the child's disruptive behavior or poor grades due to wandering attention (bored senseless?) It's the one model fits all of public education and a desire to push kids through the system.
