Anyone know where to get or how to go about doing a chainsaw safety class for guys that would be accepted as approved training for a company. Want to do it for a few guys that work I. Our area, myself, and any others that hat may want to attend, but ASTI, may or may not have one, and of they do. Who knows where or when. Hopi g I could put something together from online course maybe? Like to not charge anyone anything either.
Don't know if any companies out there have a program for new hires that is acceptable they'd like to share.

The TCIA has a training book that is good for new people, no hands on or actual cutting. I live in Minnesota and our state depart of nat resources runs a felling class and certification. That meets the standards of the forest service for firefighting purposes. That course is very good with hands on training and you have to directionally fell a tree to pass.

Everyone one that I know in the organization is "first class knowledgeable".
They have trainers in many areas of the US.
I have attended several training classes (which were sponsored by someone else.)
I have no idea what the costs are.
I've been to a few seminars and classes with NATS. They are a stand up company with very knowledgeable trainers in my opinion
