Chainsaw battles in the canopy?

this sounds intense. anyone know any more details. I think it is the wrong use of the word arborist. crazy. There were some infamous treebattles towards the end of the redwood logging era.

Yeah, this is a thing for sure... Somewhere there is footage of some goon using a chain flip line gaffing up the tree to the platform. Pinning down the tree sitter and blasting them in the face with mace, punching them, and forcing them into a rock climbing saddle.
It was (is) brutal, and yes paid and hired goons that had the privilege to apply whatever force required while the law enforcement agents looked the other way... What happens in the woods 'stayed in the woods'.
The only successful tactic was the sitters taking off their harnesses, and tying nooses around their own necks.
However this wasn't the redwoods but the 'oregon timber wars'

These so called arborists are traitors to the trade, to the trees, and to the human race. And the headquarters of the ISA is in Atlanta. Wonder what they’re involvement is with the situation.

A few good old boys get together they feel like they can do anything, even kill protestors. That whole police city development is complete bullshit.
