SALEM, N.H. -- A father and son in Salem are facing charges after an incident involving a chain saw early Thursday morning.
Salem police said that shortly after midnight, they were called to a residence on Woodland Avenue after Jake Wells made a 911 call saying his father was threatening him with a chain saw.
Police said that when they arrived, John Wells was on the porch with a running chain saw. Officers had to draw their weapons, and John Wells was eventually arrested, police said.
Police said Jake Wells got into an altercation with officers while they were arresting his father, and he was subsequently charged.
