Cat 3126 thermostat

Some have one and some have two depending on their setup. Probably depends on output and intended application.

It's ok if you bought a 3126 cat motor. You don't have to 'ask for a friend' about those. I recently bought a truck with one in it myself.
 
This is for a 2000 Chevy 7500. I ordered one from the dealer and they sent two. I can only find on on the top of the engine block but I’m not tearing this thing apart without knowing.
 
They are right next to each other if equipped with two on the ones I've seen. I think the main difference between the one t stat and two t stat version is the t stat housing holds two vs one. Never seen one have one in a different location but with this kinda of stuff anything is possible due to a different configuration.

The truck I just bought is a 2000 GMC 7500.
