Cancer Research

Well, we are at $795 for 2005. I wanted to also ask that any new donators private message me here so that I don't overlook sending you your T-shirt and stickers. I don't always check our account regularly and you may be waiting a while. Sorry for any who have had this happen. /forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I just wanted to say "Thanks" to all of you who contributed to the Climb Strong Project. It is very rewarding to see such generosity. We raised nearly $500.00 last year and $1025.00 this year! That is fantastic. I hope that we can make an even bigger difference next year!

BTW, for those of you that have been waiting for your T-shirt size to come in- they're in! Arborwear has just sent some new recruits. I hope that we see some Climb Strong shirts at TCI Expo and that we remember to thank Arborwear for their generosity. Thanks! /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here's what we helped to achieve:

Dear Peloton Project Members:

A HUGE congratulations to all of you for all of your outstanding fundraising throughout the 2005 Peloton Project fundraising year. To date we have raised over $6.4 million for cancer survivors and we're still working hard to achieve our $7 million goal!

We know that many of you have raised considerable funds so far and we would like to give you one last opportunity to achieve the next fundraising level. Any online donation received in your account before tomorrow (Wednesday, September 21st) at 5:00 p.m. (CST) will count towards your fundraising level. At that time we will do a final tally of our jersey levels. The level you are at tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. (CST) is the level you will be at during the 2005 Ride for the Roses Weekend.

Please know that this is NOT the end of fundraising!!! To achieve our $7 million goal we will continue to need your support these next 30 days leading up to Ride Weekend. Together we can make 7 for Survivors a reality. All funds received after 5:00 p.m. (CST) tomorrow will count towards our $7 million goal, but will not count towards individual fundraising levels.

Thank you for your hard work and we look forward to seeing you all during Ride Weekend.

Sincerely,
The Peloton Project Team

Well, I finally was able to set up the fundraising account since the LAF changed their program. If anyone is interested in helping to raise some money, click on the ClimbStrong banner ad.

Thanks to all who have helped in the past 2 years. I am trying to have our programer get the "climbstrong" icons working again.

Ha for all those tree hugging hippie yellers out there Pffft. We do care about kids, heck yesterday I was strolling around the job sight loking at what to be done when I saw a kid playing around the tree well mind made up do alittle more searching in the banks of treatments to save the tree and let the kids have fun.
I was talking to a friend who has known couple with kids with cancer, they all say the same thing they would do anything just to be outside, but you look around the kids are all playing games in front of the tv. Go figure.

In all seriousness Cool deal.
