Campaign tunes

Found in the Chicago Tribune this morning:

Might be less than subtle hints in this, but

Foo Fighter's told McCain's campaign to refrain from using MY HERO at any more rallies. They complained that it was written for and about the common man.

John Mellencamp also told them to never again play: HEART.

Jackson Browne had to sue the campaign for infringement for using his songs, and

Sam Moore who wrote SOUL MAN asked that McCain quit playing his tune forever.

I guess there's always Ted Nugent, but don't scare the little old ladies away.

I've heard that Ray Linn & the Chicago Stompers have demanded that Obama stop playing Empty Suit Blues as his entrance song. He's also been enjoined to stop playing "I've got Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks. 'May or may not be true.
