Butterfly II Saw(s) Storage

I am having trouble keeping my bent gate biner behind my right hand D-ring. I like to keep my chainsaw and sometimes my handsaw on it. The trouble is it always slips forward past my D-ring and I sometimes clip my lanyard into it....good thing I always look down and see, and dont just trust the clicking sound.

Have any of you stitched the bent gates into the saddle? Or how about Zubats? They dont stay on bent gates that well anyways, ever stitch them in there too?

Pics would be good of the set-ups also.

Zip ties will do the trick too.

*I put a small aluminum biner on the red webbing belt back behind the right D-ring. Two heavy zip ties in an X pattern, will hold the snap in place. If you take another, pass it under the two existing zip ties, and then do a round turn on the top of the biner, it will hold the biner stationary in relation to the belt.

My main gripe about the Komet saddles, is that they have very limited possibilities for how you customize your harness.

I managed to secure mine with electrical tape. I did think it would lose its adhesive qualities in the wet but the biner hasn't budged since I put it on there about three months ago - It doesn't look particularly tidy but it works ok.
