Bonner Double Bag

Glad you guys like it! Some great feedback so far, two straps on the inside, smaller pockets for the throw balls or something to keep them closed and some weights/grommets at the ends of the tarp.

A lot of credit goes to my friend Duane who dutifully tested the first one I hand sewed together for a few years!

I would like a pocket next to the clip on the tarp to put the bag in after I clip it. Make sense?

Used it yesterday. I liked it a lot. It seemed to be a magnet for crap falling out of the tree so I spent come time getting the dead sticks off it. I learned to keep it farther from the tree! All in all a good product. I do agree with the above recommendations.

Is the warranty voided if we sew in weights on the corners (assuming potential damage doesn't occur there) Thought about adding tarp grommets too for small tent stakes should the need arise.

So I've used the Dbag (I bought the kit) several times now.

Positives:
Durable- there's no doubt that this thing is nearly indestructible.
Handy storage- I like being able to store two lines in one spot, and keep the extra weights in the sleeves. Two lines in something about 1.5x the size of a cube is nice.
Ability to flake line relatively effortlessly. Flaming into a cube isn't hard, but this is mindless.

Cons:
Not easy to switch sides. You see that perfect TIP only to get set up and throw at it a few times, and realize that there's a better one from another angle, or switching sides for whatever reason you may have.
Storing hung up line, or something, when you need the second line at another spot. You need a "cube" in two different places at once, where there is a fair amount of line on the ground.

Over all I'm pleased. I echo the sentiment to have a way to fasten the extra weights in the sleeves.

Haven't seen an issue with only one strap holding both lines inside.

As for the included parts when ordered as a kit, I'd like the choice for the diameter lines, I like the smaller diameter personally. I'd also like to suggest the weights be changed. Currently it comes (the kit) with 8,10,10,12,12,16oz.

I love having a 14, I'd drop the 8 for the 14.

Over all, I'm pleased with the purchase. I bought the kit mostly as a price thing. It was a pretty good deal on the lines and weights. I'm sure I'll end up with a Faltheimer cube one of these days, but this seems to work fine for the most part.

Nick- for the guy who wanted two cubes in two places would a zipper at the junction of the tarp and the bag be useful? Then you could zip off a tarp if needed at a different place around the tree....
