Bleeding Tenex-TEC

Throw it in the washing machine with a load of dark clothes? And then maybe run it through the dryer? It’s a dog leash, so it’s not like it really matters much if it loses a little bit of strength in the dryer.

Not aware of a 12 strand that doesn’t do that. Seems like most double braid rigging lines have a coating that does this as well. I tend to avoid all rigging lines for animal leads. Maybe look for something marketed towards the sailing community.

ETA: Samson Icetail may work. No coating but is more expensive and only 5/16".

Stable Braid is available uncoated through most industrial rigging supply companies. Tenex Tec I think some washing would help, like Reach said.
