A couple of Christmas' ago a friend gave me a book about Blaze. When I read the book I didn't know him, afterwards I missed him. He lived in a treehouse in Atlanta for a while before moving to Austin.

His songs have been recorded by many famous people. Undoubtedly you've heard them.

A movies been made and is going to be on tour around the country.

Just maybe - albeit far from a definitive certainty - that I can find the wherewithall and excuse that may propel my hermitized personage back to Texas in the coming Late Spring and we can meet beforehand or at the Kerrville Festival and schmooze among the catagorically ill-refuted and questionably sane songsters - among which I expect several who remain alive and still kicking - to attend as well; the event of the largest gathering of stubborn hippies, burned-out folkies, and disgruntled exteroti as ever assemble in the Western hemisphere, persent company included.

Health fair, gardening preps underway, botanical experiments in progress, and no reliable way to communicate with the outside and crispy world unless it's by a doctor's appointment or a pork belly auction. Less to no fuel other than wood, grain, alcohol (including beers and other distillates) and an occassional cup of Joe in town, when I need people which isn't often.

I'll check now and then....until that take care, be good, better the planet and lesson the dick's who take only and never give back.
