I have to replace the pouch/rubbers on my BS.

Which way do you have the seam on the pouch, towards or away from the pole? Why would you put it one way or the other?

Towards the pole. If you put it away from the pole, it will rub/ interfere with the throwball. My first BS had the pouch installed backwards and the threads tore within 3-4 months. I had to re-sew it and I did it inside out so the stitching was on the outside of the pouch. It worked much better after that.
