Interesting, was it yesterday? I had my first pick yesterday go wrong, it came at me a bit, I used the saw to block the butt from me, but the more embarrassing thing was that since I used muscles to hold the piece off, my fingers grabbed the throttle. Very embarrassing. I could have been cut for the first time. I still can't let it go. If that stuff happened more often, I'd quit. Dumbest moment I've had in a long time.
 
Lol'n at you again. Self esteem is no issue here, muttly. Have you gotten any grime on your climbing gear yet was the question. Still looks right out the box. White shirt included, have you even gotten any sweat on it?

This afternoon for me.... so x you human too eh? I went too low cause the sling would've been on a wrist sized top but the piece was small enough to deal with it but i still didn't trust it so i damn near shat my pants with my pusspuss sling job. Crane op didn't feel anything but was wondering why i was howling like a bitch as it tipped over and then chit on me when he saw what i was worked up about ... lol.

Don't be too hard on yourself and hopefully you ya don't take for granted the first pick of the day again. You gots it. Do you use a bungee tether for your top handle or do you free hand?
 
Bungee tether.

On the small diameters, put the sling there first if needed to stay verticle, as a marl or half hitch, then clevis lower onto the bigger diameter. That way, high enough not to flip, but if cracks off, peice doesn't fall. You know this.
