Big logs big money.

A client of mine is a movie and TV producer shooting a show in Eastern Canada. For this show he needs rough 30 logs about 3 feet diameter by 30 feet long each..

They are a production company with a substantial budget.. Does anyone in Eastern Canada have a loggers contact they could provide me with?

NFLD is where the logs need to end up.. so the closer the logs are to there the better in terms of cost..species needs to be assorted.

You won't find 3ft DBH trees in NFLD that's for sure.....or most of the Maritimes for that matter, especially ones that are 30ft clear. Maybe the odd urban tree, but doubtful you'd get 30 of them in a short time frame and they would almost certainly all be white pine. Quebec and Ontario would be better places to check.

I've been looking for forestry companies and logging wholesalers in QC mainly.

I might have a guy, Ill call him tonight. How soon do they need to be there ?

They shoot from mid December through January

The only species that will be those dimensions are poplar and pine, Im pretty sure.

2-4 foot dbh was the exact request. Still not many options in that range I understand,
