Last weekend my local Massachusetts tree climbing club (Carlisle Tree Climbers) participated for the first time in this annual event. Approximately 600 people from many parts of planet Earth participated. It is in part a fund-raising event and in general to get a bunch of people sleeping in trees to raise awareness about the value of keeping trees standing and forests intact. More info here:

That’s awesome, and Kay is adorable lol your pics of her always remind me of my mom.

Wesspur sells a 1/2” 12 strand hollow braid called EK-12, that’s really inexpensive. I had an idea to make my own hammock out of it. A whole bunch of brummels ought to do it.

Kay is a hot ticket, working on a book about lichens right now, she never stops.
