i have a husky farm ranch 55 18inch bar got it brand new at pawn shop for 3 bills it was used one time to cut some brush thats a different story i start talking get off the subject well sorry you all have a great day and be SAFE climbing an GOD BLESS

Love the MS200T. I got no reason to go for anything else - that includes the price. I think they're worth saving up for. By the way, where are you seeing them for 525 to 575? Last time I bought one, I paid $640.

their a work horse (200T) i agree...
seen it on ebay about 3 weeks ago just did't have enough cash..

thanks im gonna hold off and stick with what i kno is good..

This is too easy. 200T bro. Don't half your purchase. If you have to wait, suffer, and drool it will be worth it. Its like buying a Mac or an HP. FYI I would never post a pic of my lady around a bunch of crusty tree doods.

Have used Husky, Echo and Sthil. Used a Homelite too, once....not lite by the way! Best saw, hands down, Stihl 200t...just like most everyone else said. Every climber I know has said the same. You'll get a few guys who are trying to convince themselves that they did themselves a good turn by saving money and buying the Husky, but they all come around eventually.

Having said that, the Husky doesn't suck as bad as everything else...if you are pruning with it. But when you want to blow a top that is bigger than 5in. in diameter, you will send the Husky dwn and use a Stihl. You have posted already that you are doing mostly removals, so there is no point in the Husky. A Husky is a good dog (have had 3 adults and 20 or so pups...they all rocked), or big saw, but their climbing saw is not as good as the Stihl.

If you're on a budget and are looking for a good trim saw for the money. There's some places that are closing out the 338's fairly reasonable. It's a good quality saw and with a sharp chain will cut very well. One that you might try would be treestuff.com. I know they carry saws. Or even try a local dealer and negotiate price.

Don't know much about the newwer echos but the older tree saws are sh1te. recoil spring replacement every other week or so.....not fun. Only Husky I ever ran was a 55, and it was HEAVY!

But, with the way Stihl operates, the 200t will probably be discontinued soon, as it is too good of a saw. They tend to do this with all the good ones.

Watch Ebay. I got my MS 200t for ~$350 used and in good shape. I have seen some that look barley used. Homeowners bought them and used them only once or twice and is now selling them.

But you had to modify it to do that, and thats also why I have the 200T. One would conclude that if I midified my 192, than it would smoke your echo, lol

My dad can beat up your dad
