Best Summer Work Pants?

I’m curious what everyone’s preference is. Has anybody come across any pants that are good in keeping you cool in the summer heat?

Cloggers - hands down for me. Good fit, wear well and great company with nice folks. Can clean sap off with isopropyl alcohol and hand wash in a tub. Wear mine with good old Walker Saw Shop suspenders. My old Pfanners were like a microwave oven.
The Clogger Zeros have been very tolerable in 107⁰ weather, but the waistband stretches so quickly, that I don't even bother putting them on without a belt. I am hoping the Arborwear Dogwoods do well enough, because the fit is fantastic.

Also a big fan of Clogger Zeros. I haven't owned any other brand of cool/lightweight chainsaw pants to compare them with, but my experience has been they are very comfortable and durable.

I have a few pair of the Wranglers. They are pretty good. I, however, prefer Arbor wear Canopy pants. 2 different price zones for sure! However I have 2 pair of Canopy pants...one about 10 yrs old the other about 6. I wear them pretty much every week - including climbing trees and they are still going strong. Not bad value when you consider that life span.

i bought five pairs of canopy pants in 2016 and theyre all going strong, which is nice because i dont want to pay to replace them nowadays

i tried patagonia's hemp blend workwear pants for summer use as well and while breathable i found the canopy pants more pleasant to wear overall

I’ve got a couple of the canopy pants I’ve had for years, but I need double cargo pockets these days :-) They are definitely durable!

First arborwear pants I ever bought were the old style canvas climbers (hot and no stretch) and then the tech pants. That was before the stretchy material was available I think. They sit in the closet.

Were the pataguccis durable enough to justify the cost?

For chainsaw pants, Clogger zeros hands down.

For just regular work pants, Truewerk T1’s. I really don’t rave about things that often, but my goodness I can’t say enough about Truewerk’s pants. I bought a few pairs in 2020 and I still wear them 4 years later, and that’s putting up with all of the abuse of running a tree company throws at a pair of pants. Bark, teeth, sap, dead wood, various oils, sweat, blood, more sweat, maybe sharts, I will neither confirm nor deny, etc. I am thoroughly impressed. Well worth the money. I’ve worm most of if not all of the other popular brands as well. Nothing has help up like them.
That goes for Clogger too, although I haven’t worn any other chainsaw pant.
