Best place to work northern summer

I am looking for ideas for work next year in the northern summer for 3 - 4 months. I am English with full range of NPTC units and plenty of experience. I am currently working in New Zealand but don't fancy another winter here next year. Just looking for ideas at this stage.

Hi Fester,

For a couple of months, its not worth thinking about the states, the work permit process was a real ballache and a money drainer, also for that amount of time you will struggle to get a good salary, that was my experience any way.

Maybe try canada, they have a more relaxed aproach and plenty job offers came in when i looked at it.

Here in Norway the cash is pretty good but some find it hard to adapt to the pace here, for me its all good.

I was in NZ myself for a few years, some time in Auckland but mainly in christchurch. cold winter nights indeed!

happy job hunting

Andy

do you have any contacts in norway that I can have? missing the big work so very intersted - long days don't worry me either! Thanks for the advice, was offered work in Canada a few years ago with Davey but didn't go in the end.

try contacting treebear or treebogan on here. if you look in on the work in norway thread you should get their details,
they are on the west coast whre the weathers a bit like northern uk (rainy). but a stunning part of the world!

only other treework is here in oslo, but there is a bit of a debate about some of the firms here, pm me if you want my views!

also dont forget sweden, the moneys as good as here and its a good social life there, seems very long work days though.

you dont work for treescape out of otahuhu, do you?
