Best gear for liger modification?

I have a Weaver cougar saddle. And I'm going to step up to a Rook as my attachment point on the saddle for SRT climbing.
Since I'll have the bridge apart, I have decided to also replace the stock webbing bridge and leg rings with a rope bridge and plate to use as forward Ds. The "liger" mod. Looking for good advice on which products you'd suggest to use for the following:

• Rope for rope bridge (16 strand seems popular?)
• How to terminate rope ends on plates (stopper knots thru plates vs knots tied to plates direct, etc)
• Should I insert some rubber stoppers on the rope bridge like the stock webbing does?
• Which plates to use in place of the rings, need at least 3 holes if leg & waist straps tie in same hole, or 4 holes if they are tied in different holes.

This CT rigging plate seems to be popular, is this still the go-to choice for this mod?

That may be not as nice to the straps as the CT? CT looks like it has more generous bend radius..

but wouldn't that be pretty sketch - clipping into the same ring as your straps? I would worry about the biner/snaps pinching or smooshing the straps or the bridge knots.

Not sure. I've never held the CT in my hands. The TriRig is pretty wide. Straps have minimal wear after a year in service. I don't see any reason the ct wouldn't work.

I was in it for 3 or 4 years and cant think of a single time that i clipped into just the webbing. Isnt the mcrs all rings?

That is how the sequoia is set up. Your lower dees are petzl open rings with webbing run through. I clip into them often with my lanyard and have not had an issue.

Appears it is. I guess it's just me, I would prefer the separation of holes.

Not sure if the webbing on the Cougar would fit in the TreeMo Dee's?

Stick some RE TriRig plates on it and enjoy!

I used Petzl rigging plates. I think 16 strand is a good choice. I also turned the leg straps so the buckles are inside like MonkeyBeaver, makes it much easier to don/doff.

I used a couple of the smaller Climbing Technology rigging plates and a piece of XTC Fire for the bridge and. DMM bat plate in place of the ring.

I have the Rock Exotica TriRigs on my Cougar. I used the replacement bridges that treestuff sells and also have a Kong Duck on the left side as a bridge adjuster. I like that setup a lot.
