bell ultra logger

Basically this is what I spent many hours/days designing. Mine was specific to hauling brush and logs but this does so much more and it's already built with a warranty, pto and reversible handlebars. I still have some mods that would be new but I could play with them on this platform. I was also going for ultralight/lowimpact construction but this would have more traction and power. Even a miniskid would tear up the moss and surface roots so I'm looking for a cheaper, more portable, lighter foot print option. A mechanical pair of boots more or less.

I like it, but how exactly would you plan to move wood and brush?

A mix of hard plastic drag sheet or tin, aluminum, I suppose even plywood that takes some of the load and caster wheels assist. A drag ramp it could be called.

It'll never work.
It needs another axel or caster on the back to stabilize it.
Kinda like a wheely bar on a drag car.
Also hard to walk behind it with brush at your heals.

No offense of course.

Uh no lol. Although, it is a Buick. How about a driven Dyson ball for minimum impact and max mobility.

Have you noticed with a heavily loaded two wheel hand truck/dolly when two people are propelling it uphill backwards with the the handles infront and the second guy pushing on the load it almost becomes self propelled even uphill. The guy on the handles ends up just steering and putting enough downward weight to hold the load from dragging and the guy pushing just pushes down and it goes forward at running speed without either having to put what should be adequate forward propulsion. Something there to consider and understand.

A person could do alot of damage with just a heavy electric, gas or even crank winch on wheels.

I've been eyeing those electric cart pushers in store parking lots.

I'd like the machine to do some of the picking up. A dragging machine that picks up half the load.

Exactly. Have the motor wheels lift half the load then drag light loads and some kind of a trailer cart for logs. Those trailer wheels could be driven on two wheel tractors with a pto.

it seems someone can make the stein and one of those 2 wheel tractors work very quickly seeing how there is an already available quick attachment system, all it will take is a hinged bracket that fits into the frame of the stein (like the handle bars do) pinned in place, and a similar hook up to the frame with the bolts or quick connect
