I made a post last year asking the pros and cons of real vs. artificial turf. Just wanted to update those who remember and share the pictures of the new fescue turf.

I don't know about the grass but the resurection of the trees is miraculous.

Fabulous green growth on the trees. Is that fescue too...

Why fescue is such a sunny area? Did chinch bug eat that lawn?

It was either that or Kentucky blue. I do have a lot of shaded areas and didn't think the Kentucky Blue would make it. The fescue is doing good so far, The trees are getting plenty of water too. Hopefully not to much, but the soil is pretty sandy. Although we did till in over a 100 yds of organic topsoil on the first couple of inches. Soil was in really poor condition.
