Bandit Chipper wont stay running

Hi, I have a bandit 254xp, this thing has been golden for me untill recent, I've changed the ignition switch, Murphy switch, and it still won't stay running, it will run if I hold the key to turnover, it will stay running, let off the key it dies.. any help would be greatly appreciated

What motor? Mechanical injection?

It is the Cummins 4 clyinder, I think it's electrical, pump has the injector on the side with three wires.

I have a 1996 250xp with a 4cyl cummins and I couldn't get it to start. There was a wire that was unhooked from the injection pump. Mine wouldn't run at all tho, it would only crank over.

Do you know were the wire was located? Mine will run, only if I keep the key turned on and cranking

It's between the engine and the injection pump. But on the injection pump.

Check safety plug on disc cover. Kept making my 1890 shut off when chipper started shaking. If bi passed check connection.
