Awsome climbing boots!

Just bought a pair of Asolo Echo hiking boots. All I can say is they are great for treework. Great traction, stiff soles and comfortable. Check them out if you are in need of some new boots. Sierra Trading Post has them pretty cheap.

I bought those asolos almost a year ago and am still wearing them. They are great climbing boots!

im on my third pair but i cant seem to get them to last for more than six months. The pair I have is eight months old now and snow is coming through the bottom. Agreed though they are great to climb in.

yeah the asolos are the best ive been in too...i spent $180 on a pair (they seem to be discontinued now tho) around eight months ago and they have stood up pretty well...even in the snow with all the drying and wetting, warming and cooling. i had a pair of $350 zamberlans...and i prefer the asolos hands down

I have been using my La Sportivas for over a year. I use them every day for climbing and groundwork. There are no tears in the leather, no stitching coming out, and no rubber separation from the boot. I climb every day too. Any other boot I was using in the past I'd wear out in 6 months. It looks like I may get 2 years out of these.

These are the pair I use. La Sportiva

If you all know your size and style of boots you like, check out travelcountry.com. Tons of stuff at really low prices, some great deal, just got more of my MH pants that I believe are the closest thing to Stretch Airs.

What part of the shoe is failing? I ask because it might have something to do with the width of your foot.
You might also want to consider buying from REI. If you are a member they have a great return policy. I had a pair of boots for about seven months that started to bust at the stitching, I called REI and said the boots sucked they said bring them back for a full refund or a new pair of shoes. Now I have a nice new pair of Asolo Fugitives for free(or for the cost of the original pair, depends on how you look at it).

I just bought the asolos pictured in the link and they are really great. So much lighter than my steel toe redwings with no more traction left.

hey, family tree, don't order from there and expect it on a rush order. It took 6 days to get a shipping confirmation and a ground delivery from there. However the best thing is, sales tax does not apply and no shipping costs.... get clickin' big guy.
