We have been using 2 of these rakes for a couple of months now. Compared to leaf rakes, they have cut cleanup time at least a 3rd! They also work well on gravel and wood chips.
A great product! Sherrilltree has them, but I found the best price at American Arborist Supplies. I have included a link to their website. web page

We have a few....doesn't do fine enough cleaning for saw dust but works well on everything else. Problem is, because the rake doesn't do everything they are likely to do nothing and sit in the truck

Some times its alot easier to use the leaf blower in conjunction with raking, especially if you have a really powerful blower. Its cuts cleanup time by like 42%. kidding about that but its really alot faster if you have a large span to rake and couple guys on the rakes and one with the leaf blower.

We sent each crew out with a Groundkeeper rake to demo.

NOBODY on the crews like them.

From where the sun now stands, we will buy no more of these over thought rakes.

Actually, I've been conducting a study this past year, trying to find the ultimate rake. We've tried a myriad of metal tined rakes. I'm looking to publish my findings soon. Chris can't be the only one with an article in the Journal.

How about the Fiskars? I used them and they have worked well plus there's a life time guarantee. If it breaks due to defect-and since it's advertised as unbreakable it will always be a defect with normal use- take a picture, email it to them and they send you a new rake head. NO CHARGE!

Sweet deal and nicely designed rake.

I got to agree with you cory. For regular clean up they are way too agressive. But they are really good for stump grindings especially those that are run over and stuck to the grass. This thing will pull those up like nobody's business. Thats the only reason I own one.

I used the "No-Clog" plastic leave rakes, with the wide teeth, for a while. I'm not saying the Groundskeepers are the best, but we sure like them a lot better. I'm sure that each one of you has a rake style/brand that you like best, and I would be interested to hear your input.

The JOA is a reputable peer reviewed journal, Cory. I believe I've already heard of a rake study floating out there somewhere. Be sure to do a thorough literature review...

we have a rake that has a steel bar in the handle, it dubbed "the workout rake" cause it weighs like 15 lbs... i love that rake

all of my work areas on campus are have caution tape around them, access is only granted to people withppe and a rake. this keeps the riff raff out...it also is a humorous way to deflect the request to cut through 'quickly' :)
