I tried to change my avatar. Again hiccups. The error message flashes something like "doesn't have permissions."

Maybe someone can tickle the underworkings for me, please?

I don't think its a Mac thing. It might be the permissions on another file already sitting there, needing to be replaced.

My cat's names:
Tocatta
Presto
Miles [Davis]
Tarzan and Jane, littermates (soon to be 1 year old!)
that was the best we could come up with that was associated
with trees.

My dog's names:
Duchess of Indian Summer
aka Duchess II, since the first Duchess,
also a German Shorthaired Pointer,
