Actually, I am happier when I see happy cats, like in your previous space-nerd-kitten avatar. I now know that you are a cat lover, and a comic genius, so you have alot of latitude with me. It was an old trailer mounted hay mower that was driven with a 540 Power Take off. I built it to reduce overgrown lilac, caragana and catoneaster hedges.

It will cut to 10 feet off the ground and vertically as well.At this time the largest piece of wood to go through it is just over 1" diameter.

As the age of the farmers increase, the less yard work gets done. We never ever intended on doing scrubs, brush or shelterbelt work, the need for such a machine here is hopefully going to pay well.
