Autotune Saws Auto Flooding?

I have a t540xp and a 562xp. Since it has been high temperatures outside, my saws have been extremely frustrating. They run fine when they are cold but have a hard time starting back up and sometimes won't even start. It seems they are flooding. Is this a known issue, could it be due to temperatures, and could it be an easy fix?
Thank you in advance!

My 550 is super easy to flood when it sits in the sun as well. I was wondering if it's not a tank vent issue. My t540 flooded hanging from the saddle with a full tank, the dealer modified the vent to husky's service bulletin specs and haven't had an issue since. I've had other saw sit in the hot sun and the gas was literally boiling inside the tank.

Also try pushing the kill switch down and let it spring back up before you pull the starter cord. I do this now every time I start a 562, it resets something

Interesting, havent heard that. The high idle usually works on the 550, the 540 gets it when its off for 20 or30 minutes and is kinda bleh...
My 576 with the first generation autotune is perfection. Don't understand why they had to mess with success.

There was a recall on the 540 fuel tank, from what I was told. Until you take it to the shop, just unscrew the fuel cap to release the vapor lock when it starts acting up.

Thanks guys. I found a Youtube video that explains how to set high idle and how to start them if flooded. Worked great but still a little of a bummer to get professional saws that still have to be "tricked" to run.

My saw was doing that (540t) then brought to a shop and they told me it had all signs of lean/straight gas going thru it and wouldn't help me out. All my other stuff hasnt had a problem with the same fuel run thru it.....

It's getting too hot, so you need it to cool down.

Throw it in the nearest receptacle,( I would say lake, but I don't want you poisoning the baby fishes), & go buy the comparable Cream Sickle.

Or maybe the battery powered version: they don't get too hot. [emoji41]

I have had a Sweed pronounce it for me, she is a customer of mine. She was happy we were running Husqys and that got her talking about home this and that. Damn near added an hour to the job but she is easy on the eyes so it didn't matter.

I've noticed my MS 261CM and MS661 CM range from difficult to impossible to start if left in the sun for too long. I always make sure now that if I'm going to lay them down for any length of time I lay them in the shade.
