It was my bedtime. Like after 9 pm!I actually fell asleep too ..but it was later at night.
Yea, same here. A new toy is exciting but the shiny new part wears off quick.I'm feeling good for not buying a blackbird
I think the Akimbo has really been one of the best all around devices I’ve flown. I’ve found a setting that works very well in MRS and SRS alike when pairing it with Courant Kalimba. Just awesome for getting off the crane and onto a spar. Something’s going to have to be really really special for me to ditch my current ride.I'm feeling good for not buying a blackbird

Please review the Akibaki 2. I have a couple gen1’s and like them alot. Can’t figure what’s really changed in the gen2’s.might have to try that kalimba… ordered the alimbo 2 already![]()
This has to be expected with a Gen 1 mechanical multicender, they'll get there. There’s a voluntary part upgrade/ inspection notice issued for the blackbird today if any of the early adopters here got it definitely check it out. https://climb-art.de/BB/Aufruf/SicherheitSafetyNotice.pdf
the upper cam is stationary. my friend thinks it creates more tension and is harder to 'break' the clamping force when descending. Please review the Akibaki 2. I have a couple gen1’s and like them alot. Can’t figure what’s really changed in the gen2’s.
Sap on ropes and gear is, around here, an everyday occurrence - tool development without considering this (and how something can be cleaned up) - this is just "McHappy Land" testing in my opinion. I do wish the EN/ CE/ ISO standards would consider it for some sort of testing regimen, but that's probably just wishful thinking. It looks like pre-release mechanical device testing needs to include various scenarios with conifer pitch on lines.
