Are you strong enough to do this?

Wow. This is strength under control like no other.

Can Tree Buzzers do this?

That guy puts me to shame for sure.

Pretty sure all three judges wanted to bed that guy. Purple shirt wet his pants first, the sweety had a couldn't help but glup, and the last guy was just flat wowed out.

Glad to hear "wow," "wow-wee," and "standing ovation" are now French words as well.

So Holly, how about you? Did that get your squirel going?

But, for clarification for all, and for the sake of my masculinity.

That guy was tough. I liked the mime of walking up the wall.

Here is a "flag" done by the late Dan Osman, legendary free solo climber (no gear whatsoever) and rope jumping world record holder, something in the ball park of 1000'.

At about 0:16 he is doing a free solo climb of Atlantis 5.11 (f'ing hard) and throws in a "flag" for good measure

but wait there's more to it.

He had a bmx crash

a couple of days earlier

and is doing this with 2 broken ribs (to the best of my knowledge).

Tragically, Dan died in a rope jumping accident after being arrested and in jail for a little bit (week (s)), and the Yosemite Rangers were going to pull his rope-jumping gear from the place where it was set-up. Dan went for the biggest plunge of his life, changing his fall path without first dummy-testing, two ropes crossed. The one of the knots joining vertical ropes crossed over the tyrolean/ horizontal anchor rope (with built in breakaways for add'l shock absorbtion (at the moment can't spell that for the life of me)) and broke.

Jamin,

were you typing in the key words, "bare breasted man, big muscles, grabs hard pole" ?

to find that?

It would be funny to see a montage of clips of TBers attempting this. I don't know if I could do a waving around in the wind flag move, and I know that I couldn't do it statically like that guy. It would make a good party trick.
