Arbo in Ely, MN???

An old friend of mine who lives in Ely, MN wrote to me yesterday. He has a sick Norway maple and needs someone to look at it.

Does anyone know of a qualified arbo who lives near there...up in Paradise!

Or...another option...a qualified arbo who is planning a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters and would want to combine work and play???
 
Gods country! Might be a good excuse for me to head up that way sooner than planned! I was thinking of going up in late June to hit some of my favorite fishing holes in the state.

One thought would be to see if the college has any teachers that would be willing to look at it. I know when I went there they had a class on disease and insects, the professor at the time was excellent.

There has got to be a CA in Grand Rapids... Im guessing that is about as close as your going to get.
I'm on the wrong side of the state. Not all that far, just the Red Lake reservation and a bunch of northern swamp in the way... 5hr drive.
