there's a sale on AB Endurance Aya at TheArboristStore so wondered if anyone could flip me a review. I'm mostly SRT with the new RRP or Rope Wrench. (Go Bingham or go home.)
It looks Ike a good rope but 11.1 mm is too thin for me, so I won't try it. If they were to come out with an 11.8 version I would buy it. Their 11.8 24 strand ropes have an inner core and are poly poly. I've only used it as a lanyard but I will give it a try as my next rope.
My guess is that it performs similarly to Notch Dragon. Atlantic made that rope for notch, and it’s the same diameter, so it’s likely. Dragon has been a favorite in the rrp for many, and I enjoyed the couple climbs I had on a hank.
I've been using the purple/green Endurance with a Hitch Hiker for a couple months. I love it. I like that it feels like it has less stretch then the Yale 7/16"s the I was using previously. Might be a little less knotable than others lines, but if you're climbing SRS, it's not like you'd be tying/untying a lot.
