Any feedback on the Altec knuckle boom ?

Im looking into potentially adding a knuckle boom with a grapple saw to My fleet .I’m out here in Hawaii and I am concerned about purchasing a palfinger or an Effer set up because there’s no service techs out here in the Islands. Ive always had a good experience with Altec as far as their service goes. Do you guys think Palfinger or Effer would fly somebody out here to do a yearly maintenance or updates as needed? I’m concerned about downtime. This is why I’m considering looking into an Altec set up. I’d appreciate feedback

Seems like you could fly out a non-altec tech for the price of inefficiency between the altec and a legit tree mek. I'm not a fan of the altech-tcia relationship concerning knuckleboom grapplesaw units, to disclose my bias. There's some really corporate stuff there... No one here really talks much about the altec units. You need to call Westminster and the other maker and just ask them.
