Any Climbers in Central NC?

O and Craig thanks for the referral on that funky trunked willow oak

Guy, I was thrilled to discover that your operation is nearby. I mention your work whenever I come across tricky, potentially hazardous, but highly valued trees. If they haven't done so already, I think the city should have you assess the big willow oaks near UNC along Franklin Street. I see a lot of trees I wish I had your thoughts on!

If I weren't already overbooked, I'd take the invitation to climb for you in a heartbeat. I am sorry I'll have to miss the opportunity.

The tree you referred me to will be pruned, and I'd like your help. Won't be until late July/August.

A lot of the Franklin Street oaks could use a regeneration pruning. Sprawl and decay come with old age, but breakage need not happen.

In Durham, utility cutting puts a world of hurt on those old oaks! Here's a look at the street you were on. http://www.historictreecare.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1443&action=edit

No, it never happened. Clayton came to work with us at the City of Durham. I however, am leaving the city shortly and will be available for hire. I am also up for a climbing get together. I live in Wake Forest.
