Another good example of why one should "escape" the stump area.

I heard some statistic, which sounds to easy to be actually accurate, when being trained by the USFS, that 80% of felling fatalities occur on trees 8" or less in diameter, within 8' of the stump.

This could be less experienced trail crews dropping smaller trees in closed canopy with lots to hang up in...dunno.

Get away from the stump!
