Jesse, have you tried the pillowcase technique? I'm telling you, you get the fabric over the cat's head, and they usually stop freaking out so bad. Putting a cat feet first into a bag is tough to do on the ground...

Its funny, that was the most nervous I have ever been watching a TB video. I guess its because the cat wasn't tied in. Anyway, nice work. I'll put a pillow case in my gear bag.

Not sure where I saw it first, maybe here, but take a long gauntlet style glove and cut a hole in the corner of the pillow case and then sew the glove into the corner. That will make it possible to just grab the cat and flip the pillow case over without much effort. I even thing people where talking about adding a draw string to the system to make it one fully functioning item.
