Another Cable Install Vid

Yesterdays job. I left out the shock absorber because one of the runs was too short and I also wanted more taut support.

I would appreciate any suggestions, criticism or approval?

I might have a cable job coming up. I talked a customer into not letting the arborist cut off three large healthy limbs off his oak one siding the tree. He was worried they would fall and damage his house. I told him the limbs were healthy and oak is strong wood. I told if he would like some insurance I would cable them. He's thinking about it.

Ha ha that's it Mac. Dogs in the tree was a little sad. But the twang of the guitar was more like roping song.

No other recommendations? I guess it must meet buzz approval then? That or its not worth the energy to comment on.

Cabling is just one of those services that people seem to take different approaches for the same situation. So I'm just posting these vids to learn from others on how I can improve.

I still think a CEU workshop, or even a DVD from ISA covering dynamic and static systems (when to use one or the other) would be nice. And cover all other cabling aspects. Showing real jobs.

The ansi book is nice but I'm a better student of real life demonstrations.

I give it a thumbs up. I would have like to have heard a brief explanation of why 2 leaders is bad, but other than that, everything is easy to understand.
