Another boot thread

I dont think at our age we can change the way our feet are pointed or the gait.I can always find my way back if lost cause me heal prints will point the way

I tried some years ago too aggressively point my toes back straight but ended up with torsion on the knee. Guess I was just built to climb on spurs with the toes out

It wouldn't hurt to see if a podiatrist can make you some insoles or something but I agree with Mark, it's hard to change your gait without screwing something else up.
 
My biggest requirement for hiking style boots is finding a sole that has exceptional grip for limbwalking.Yet to find one that is soft in the sole yet firm in the boot.Most of the above mentioned models don't look too grippy to me please correct me if i'm wrong,the search continues.
