Aluminum Chipper Bodies

We're looking to build-up a new chip truck with an aluminum body and toolboxes. The only body our local dealers sell is produced by 'Scott' and is only 56" tall, which I think will be too short to fill the box effectively. Does anyone have recommendations or experience with other producers of aluminum chipper bodies?

Both Eloquip and Voth are located in Canada and don't seem to have any US dealers. There stuff looks nice, though. That Alumne body looks really good for being nearly 20 years old. Around here a steel body starts rusting in 4-5 years and goes downhill quick. Has anyone worked with New England Truck Design? They seem to do a lot of Aluminum work.

I was going to mention netd just wasnt sure how far you were considering. I based my build off some of their ideas. A local guy had one, they are nice... Big big money. I scratched my head over some things but none are perfect i guess. Any local custom fab shops around you? I went with an off the shelf aluminum dumping flatbed built by truck craft, and built the chip body myself. Just and idea.

Eloquip has shipped many bodies south of the border. Yay NAFTA!

Worth a 10min phone call.

We have 2 Voth bodies, and they are without a single flaw

The blue truck on their website is one of the twins - two identical trucks which staff have (apparently) named Mary Kate & Ashley.

Thanks for the suggestion Brendon. I've got a call in to a local fabricator about building a box on a flatbed. It must be a busy time of year for a lot of these companies; neither New England Truck Designs or Alumne have gotten back to me. I'll give a call to Eloquip.
