This is something I am very passionate about and I think some of you will find it interesting. All of us love to work with our hands, and being a part of nature. An earthship can be adapted to function in any climate, anywhere in the world. Humanity as a whole takes so much from this world, we need to begin to learn to live in harmony with our home. Just think of the possibilities that some of our waste wood contains.

Not my picture, but very simple and informative.

I walked through one many years ago. It had great light and a beautiful feel. Massive plants in the front . Felt like a big greenhouse but with a really solid earth feel to it. Near Santa Fe.

There is a large community of earthships outsider of Taos that I hope to go through on my way west. I have never seen one in person, but it seams to be one of the most symbiotic way to live with nature. Humanity has become so destructive.
