Altec vs. Terex rear mount elevator bucket truck.

We are in the market and are currently have a demo altec (pic below). It's a great set up. I'm curious on what you prefer if you had the chance to run both. I like the tool box set up on the terex better. They have true through boxes. This is because they store their hydraulic fluid in a tank behind the rear axle. I think I'm right?
Altec runs their elevator perpendicular to the rear axel.
Terex runs their elevator parallel with the rear axel.

What do you guys prefer? What advantage or disadvantages have you found running the one you have?
