alpine roller coaster

You guys ever heard of an alpine roller coaster? Looks like there's a few in Europe. I could see every ski resort building one.

There is one at Blue Mountain resort in Collingwood Ontario.You can ride tandem or single(took my five year old down) and you control the speed via a brake.Very cool,highly reccomend.

there's one on Mt. Hood over here. The track is more like a water slide, and the carts just sit in it and roll down. not like this one where they are attached to the rail.

I've been on one of those. A concrete bobsled track in Calgary. I think the monorail would give a bigger rush because of the exposed feeling. These must have rev limiters as well as brakes, you'd think you'd hit terminal velocity if they didn't. So how could one disengage the limiter? Whaaawhoooo!
