Just got done doing my prehab/rehab climbing on the spar across the road, so I used the time to break in a hank of the AllGear 11.8. Absolutely stellar with both the HHXF and the Wrench, but the combo of the 11.8, Ocean 8mm cordage, and a Wrench was end game good..

They've made it better over time. I remember it was pretty lump my inside and maybe wasn't the most durable cover on it either. But held find and once milked was a lot less "gushy". It's a lot like Tachyon, with 3 unbranded strands running inside the braided core, in am effort to keep it feeling round when running thru hardware under load.
Not a bad rope for a good price point. Splices like butter.

I recently bought an 84' piece for smaller trees and the first pass was able to milk 7" off the end. It now feels like a static rope and is nice and round. Yet to fly it

at that length, it should feel like dyneema static. I flew a 50m base tied SRT, and was very impressed. The most static rope I have been on since the all poly kernmaster. I only have a 48' lanyard in the bifrost color, and I love it for a hookline.

As I was looking around for price comparisons, I noticed that it has a very interesting construction.

"All Gear's Cherry Bomb II is 11.8mm 24-Strand Polyester Cover, a 16-Strand Polyester Core and a Cabled and Twisted Center Core."

The pictures of the core splayed out makes it look like the center core is 8 strands on its own, bringing the total strand count to 48? Anybody here spliced an eye on this? I am wondering if there are modified instructions.
