Check out this set of boots, I love them they are a stiff shanked mountaineering boot made by AKU, they are like 2.5 3.0lbs for the set made of Kevlar, there great when your in you spikes all day… anyone else use these? I love that there so light… and last forever...

I've looked at those before and considered buying a pair of Aku's, but ended up with a pair of Garmont towers (on sale). How are those boots for footlocking and walking?

Walking is a little hard because they are a stiff shank with no flex so you have to walk kind of flat footed other than that there good foot locking is a little harder but after a few weeks its like there not on your feet you get used to how they feel, really light that’s what I like about them.

Lighter is better. I was also considering this boot because of the weight.
