Accident avoided

I've learned some from you as well, just not in as direct a manner....

In my market, I can't afford generalities based on ethnicity. I'm thankful that most of the people out there do scarey work. Then they hire professionals to do it right.

I just took a look back here after a couple of weeks. Man how a thread can get so de-railed.

But we continue to weave the fabric.

When I drive by the aforementioned beneficiary of services I get to smile. They got something nice and maybe through some cosmic connection, figure out this post was about them. Still smiling I have to think about the time and energy put to less good use out here on the Buzz Board.

Great story Tom and Jim.

Reminds me of once in Maine I was doing treework with my boss, and driving home at the end of the day we passed this nut taking down a tree in his front yard. It was a dead 50 or 60' tall tree, and he had an orange extension cord for a pull rope tied about 25' up. He was fairly drunk (bottle of Jack there on the porch steps) and was about 15' up the tree with an axe, trying to chop the top out. We turned around and came back and asked him if he wanted any help etc. He said he wasn't cutting the tree from the base cuz he thought it would'nt clear the power lines when it went over, and besides, he didnt have a big enough saw. We looked and saw that it would clear and offered to cut it for him. He still didnt believe it would fit but eventually agreed to let us do it. We said we'd do it for free and that helped him decide. So he climbed down, we used the extension cord for a lil bit of pull along with the right box and wedges and it went over fine just fitting in the available space. We left with a story to tell and the guy must have been pretty happy with his luck that day.

I'll never forget using an extension cord to help pull a tree.
