A Book recommendation

I don't know home many people on here ready fantasy books, you know, magic, dragons, etc. Well, for about 5 years now, I've been hooked on the novels, Eragon, Eldest, and as of midnight last night, Brisingr. I had never picked up a fantasy novel besides Harry Potter before, but I've read the first two books at least 6 times each, and I'm still making my way through the third, and waiting for the fourth. I must say, these are a great series of novels, and even if you don't think you'd like it, at least pick up Eragon from the library and read the first few pages/chapters. These books can really show and teach a lot about moral, judgement, friendship, etc. A great series of books!!

Palini is my daughters favorite!
We stood in line for his autograph at the zoo here in Phoenix a few years back. Incredible that he wrote those at the ripe old age of 13.A multi millionaire before he finished Highschool. Ever heard of the warrior series? Its currently my kids fav. Its a indepth look at what cats lives are REALLY like. I read a bit of it. Pretty cool.

Talks about his homelife and living in the shadow of Granite Peak, highest point in Montana. The Bear Tooth Highway takes him down to East Yellowstone, where'd he probably go if he could drive. What a drive!

Red Lodge is nestled down in that valley, and also the little hamlet of Roscoe, where I cut my teeth on cutting firewood. Haven't seen the area in over 30 years and suspecting it's probably inhabited by a lot of transplants...used to be Grizzly and moose and wolves.

I like this kid, his family seems pretty cool. I'll find that book and start on it. Can see where he's influenced by the majesty there, and schooling not typical of most kids.

I worked for a summer in Livingston. Did trees for all kinds of really really rich people. There is also a underground bunker system started by a pretty out there christian group. You would never know besides a few vents here and there on the mountain.

Beautiful country, amazing river. A lot of the nicer properties butt up right against the river and we would end a lot of our days swimming or fishing out of the river.

I am intrigued by eragon too, I kind of took it for a lord of the rings imitation, maybe theres something to it though.

Yeah, I also noticed where he lived and figured that was a big inspiration for him. They had him on the Today show last Friday, when his third book Brisingr was coming out and they talked about his hoe schooling, etc.

And now that I am finished with the third book, I must again, highly recommend these books. Man, what a great book book three is!!!! Along with all the others!! Can't wait for the last and final one, book four!!!!

Yes I read Eragon & Eldest but I have yet to pick up Brisingr. Those books were really good but it was so long ago that I read them; I would have to re-read them again... I also read nearly the whole series of WARRIORS by: Erin Hunter (Still reading)... It is kind of childish but I enjoy it...

Lately I picked up this romance series called 'Twilight' and I am on the third book of the series called 'Eclipse' I was reccommended it maybe 4 times so I gave it a chance.. Also it knocked 'Harry Potter' off the top sellers list, or so I've heard.. I'm verily glad I read it! They are about 500 pages each, but I get so hooked I actually read the second one in two days. The movie for 'Twilight' comes out 12-12-08 I am SO excited!! *Happydance* :D

Also, I am always adding books on my to-read list so if you see anything good tell me! Reading is probably my favorite thing to do
